Hello, everyone.

The '59 TR3A project car I'm working on came with a jump seat. I've dutifully
wire brushed the metal legs and painted them, replaced the small lag bolts
that hold the wood frame on, and even cut a new bench seat out of good strong
plywood and polyurethaned it to protect it from moisture. (It's the curved
bench seat, not the square front.)

Now I'm hesitating to buy the upholstery to recover it and to reinstall the
jump seat. Not because of the cost, but because no one will be able to ride
back there legally anyway, and since this is a daily driver I'll actually need
the space instead for groceries, briefcase, and the like.

Since I haven't actually driven the car yet (it's going into the 3rd year of
restoration), I'd be interested in the opinion of others on the list as to the
utility--or does it just look better--of a jump seat before I make a final
decision.

Thank you, everyone.
