Which of course is different than the ordinary battery chargers we have been
discussing. A battery maintainer is voltage-regulated, and I've been
careful to specify that I was talking about cheap unregulated chargers.

Sorry my posts aren't what you want to hear, Fred, but I can't see any point
in saying "My battery didn't work after I left a battery charger on it all
month and now my battery box has cancer."
You've got a delete key, and I'm sure you know how to use it. I never
claimed to be a "battery expert", just trying to share what I know.
