While what you propose is possible and while I am no expert, I think it
has more to do with the different servers on the net. Some are just
quicker than others. Or they have less traffic or, it is just one of
the mysterys of the web. Sort of like how you can snail mail a letter
to the same address three days in a row and they will arrive at their
destination out of order and quite a few days apart. Another part of
the equation would be what people have for spam and virus detection
software on their computers and on the computers that the electronic
email finds its way through. Some systems just take longer to process
emails than others. Make any sense?
