end of the driving season?

I woke up to about 5" of snow this morning here in the hills of 
central New York. The coming weekend is forecast to be nice, but I 
fear it may be one of the last times to drive the car. The driving 
season is coming to an end, which must signal the beginning of 
wrenching season.
