ISTR that awhile back someone had a "trick" for removing the hubs from the
tapered solid axle shafts, something about heat, quench, and drop? I've
forgotten the details, but they're supposed to "pop right off"? My 20 ton
press isn't having any effect, even after weeks of soaking with Kroil, so I'm
ready to try something else. Any ideas other than a machine shop with a 50 ton
press?
