Jeremiah,
Before I bought my TR6 it sat for 12 years in a garage with a 1/4 of a tank.
Just shined a flashlight into the tank when it was empty and it was very
easy to see lots of rust particles loose at the bottom of the tank. The
radiator shop I took it to even called to ask what color I wanted it painted
after they had boiled and sealed it. I didn't have to replace any of the gas
lines, but did replace the sending unit in the tank and the gas filter. Fuel
pump was fine but I still carry the electric pump I ordered in the trunk.
