these high quality parts? >>
...Delphi is a spun off GM company, making everything from electronics
to mechanical parts. No idea what the quality of this stuff would be
since it is a aftermarket clutch.
I believe Delphi is the "successor" company to AP / Lockheed, the
company that originally made Borg & Beck clutches, so they'd certainly
have the rights and abilities to make clutches "to Borg & Beck specs";
whether new B&B is as good as NOS is for others to decide.... (I'd like
to know myself, since I'm about to bite the proverbial bullet and buy a
new, supposedly B&B/Delphi, clutch friction disc for the Herald to go
with NOS throwout bearing and NOS pressure plate.)
*Mrs Irrelevant: Oh, is it a jet?
*Man: Well, no ... It's not so much of a jet, it's more your, er,
Triumph Herald engine with wings.
