Kurt,
So much for the team.net website section on Triumphs in movies. You're right
about it being the movie Spinout and I even found a site that shows a
picture of the Ferrari/TR4 sinking in the water. Of course the guy reviewing
the movie calls it a Triumph Sprite! Go to http://sd455.com/moviespinout.htm
and scroll to the bottom of the page and you'll see some pics of them racing
and then the TR4 sinking.

Well, first off, it was "Spinout" not "Viva Las Vegas". In "Spinout"
Shelley Fabares drove a Ferrari 250 California Spyder that magically morphed
into a red TR4 as it went into the water. In the movie Elvis tows his 427
Comp Cobra behind a Duesenberg SJ Dual Cowl Phaeton, how cool is that! In
"Viva Las Vegas", the lovely Ann Margaret can be seen driving a TR3A.

Cheers,
Kurt Oblinger (who watches waaaayyyyy too much TV)

Help settle a bet, please.

In the movie Viva Las Vegas, who was the actor "driving" the Ferrari that
magically becomes a TR4 when immersed in water?
