The combination of these two statements lead me to believe the problem is
hydraulic in nature, or perhaps even the pedal itself.  In fact, if there is
no movement whatsoever, I would start at the pedal pivot.  The pedal should
move at least some, even if the MC is seized, due to the free play at the MC

If all seems OK at the pedal, then my next step would be to try bleeding one
of the front calipers.  If the pedal will force fluid through the bleed
screw as normal, then you can progress to finding out which caliper is
seized and so on.  If not, try bleeding at the MC (by loosening the outlet
connection).  If that fails, the MC is at fault.
