I'm wanting to adjust my SU Carbs with my 'Carb-Sync Model 1A foreign
patent pending'. (several years old but unused). I think it looks like the
Uni-Syn. I bought it at Richmond VTR.
The main problem is the red float thing doesn't go up and down like it
should (maybe WD-40 might help?). I can knock it against my other hand and
get it to go down. Maybe with a tiny phillips head it can be opened up to
clean the clear tube- I don't know.
another problem is that it doesn't seem to let enough suction pass
through it to keep the engine from croaking. I dial the knurled-center CCW
but it will only open to a 1/32 or 1/16" crack (at maximum). IS this
normal?
