Just so you will know, the purpose of the white/yellow is to short out the
ballast resistor during starting.  This delivers more voltage to the coil
(since the battery voltage is considerably reduced while powering the
starter), which in theory gives easier starts, especially in cold weather.

If you do start having trouble with the car being difficult to start in cold
weather (or when the battery is barely able to crank the engine), then you
might consider correcting the problem.  Obviously the "correct" solenoid
will disconnect that terminal when not engaged, or another option is to add
a relay to short out the ballast while the starter solenoid is powered.

But my guess is that you won't ever have any such trouble.
