Hi List!
I know it's been a VREY long thime since I've made ANY
posts to the list. The reason being that I was without
my computor for quite some time & when I did get back
to operating it, I was bussy catching up on my backlog
of 4+ months of TRIUMPH Digest readings (as some of
you already know). ;>)

When mating transmission to engine, I want/need to
lubricate: ...

Jim & list!
I didn't use ANY grease on mentioned items. For
lubrciation, I used DRY Grafite (sp). I was tolded buy
one Old time TRIUMPHER that 'wet' lubrication might
cause more problems in cold weather, dry out & cake
up, & possibaly get onto the dry clutch, disc, or
flywheel.
I've had no problems with useing this advice, but may
be NOW DAYS (with better greases out on the market)
There is a 'Wet' lubricant that can be used.

Just telling you what I used & why. Remember: This
list is to help people & is NOT responsibale for
anything one does. So listen to ALL input before you
decide on what proccedures or action you do. Thanks
for listening.
