Vacuum bleeding is fine for routine brake bleeding after changing shoes and
pads.  However, when you are installing an new master cylinder bench bleeding
is the only way to get all the air out of it.  I bought a little kit for bench
bleeding from TRF 20+ years ago and it makes the process simple.
