When I adjust my valves I use a dial indicator to do it. I get a much better
result than when I use to use a feeler gauge. When you chased the threads in
the rockers did you use one of the special taps for thread chasing or did you
use a normal tap? If you used a normal tap you may have loosened the threads
so they won't hold the adjustment.
