I have the same issue. If you come up with a solution let me know. I
was thinking about sewing a piece of webbing at a couple of the LTD
locations and punching a hole so that it was secured on the LTD under the
cover when it is snapped in place. Haven't tried a scrap piece to see if
the snap would still work ok. Next weekend when I get back 'on project'.

Subject: [TR] Flapping hood stick cover

Hello List:
Now that we have some decent driving weather, wondering if there are any
solutions to securing the hood stick cover in our side-screen TRs?
I manage to tightly wrap the cover around the sticks, but a mile or so down
the road it is flapping wildly in the wind. Have tried a bungee, but really
looks bad and have to undo a couple of the fasteners, Anyone try a velcro
type of fastening?
Thanks for any insights.
Angelo Graham
