I have two 1974 2500-Ms. I was driving one and bought the other for a
parts car. It turned out to have plenty of parts but none that were needed
for my first car.
I too was in the process of a complete frame off but got side tracked for
over a year. It apears that it may be quite a while before I get started
again.
I followed fellow list member Marcus Tooze idea about the Griffen
radiator. In my case I felt like there was not enough clearance and as a
result sent the radiator back to Griffin where they removed the filler neck
as well as put in a drain petcock. It looks like a perfect fit now.
I bought a Painless wiring set up as well. We put in a Fuel Safe cell due
to rust and concerns about wrecks.
The only mistake that I made was when I shipped out all of my hydraulic
parts to be sleeved. I used a well known restoration company. They have
made good every time I sent componants back. At this time I have returned
all parts at least 3 times. I recomend that you update to better brakes and
forget the restoration services.
