Did anyone else think that the CART race from Laguna Seca yesterday was the
most pathetic example of unprofessional drivers, bad officiating, and inept
crew work that they've seen in many years? They only guys who had their
act together were the safety crews - they had enough practice.
My wife and I were watching the race - after the nose plant, about 18
punt-and-runs and people just driving off the track, she turns to me and
says "That Formula Ford you were looking at getting - No. if it doesn't
have fenders you ain't racin' it."
