I recently sold one of my race cars, a 1963 TVR, to a guy in Europe. It had  
a fully legal CASC (and therefor also SCCA, I would think) roll bar, but he 
told  me that they had to rip it out and build a new one to their rules.
 
Anyone know if the FIA historic safety rules differ much from ours? If so,  
it would mean that historic cars would have to be altered from original racing  
form if they are to be run in Europe. No big deal for an old club racer, but 
for  anything with serious historical attachment that seems like a bit of a  
shame.
