Throw it away, bite the big one and buy a new one. I tried the slosh stuff from Moss. Followed instructions and it lasted 2 1/2 seasons. The stuff ended up in my fuel pump and some of it to the carb

Ken, If the idea is to keep it running at a low cost, early Japanese, Toyota Datsan, fuel pumps from parts outlets like Pep Boys National Auto, etc., are very inexpensive, like $26.00 and work fine.

I have used Indian Head Copper Head Gasket shalack. It makes a permenent bond. Clean both sides with acetone, bond the gasket to the cover first, then to the block. Do not over tighten the bolt. pau
