If you can, get a buddy to observe the clutch lever as you press on the The slave cyl. Should push the lever about 1" or so to release the throwout bearing. No movement means no fluid or cylinder(s)

Hi Daryl, Deck height I can not do, engine is completely dissembled. Piston pin height is 44mm as well as I can measure However, the piston domed, which adds another 3mm to the 44mm. Regards, Graeme
