I have a 55 3100, would the measurements for these other models be the same as mine? I have the 1955-1959 Truck Factory Assembly Manual but it does explain much about all the different model numbers.

I ran the numbers on my stock rear end through the dealership and they verified that it was original for 55-59. The picture i have shown is a 1981 Malibu, it may work, but i am not sure. Thanks...tc
