Mount the frame first. Stresses added in tightening the frame mount studs could fracture the glass. If not now then a few miles down the road when you hit a good bump.

TR6? Was the tank near empty? If it happens again, open the tank cap. I'll bet it hisses. Vacuum build up in the fuel system which the pump can't overcome. Something is plugged in the fuel emissions/

Trying to correct a misfire that starts around 2800 rpm. Point gap is set to 16, static timing at 12 BTDC idle at 875-925 rpm. Dwell meter says 25 degrees. What is the procedure to adjust to the spec

A safer approach to testing plug wires is to pull the wire, attach it to a spare spark plug, ground the plug to the block and then crank. High voltage can be a bit "shocking".
