Locally, there is an absolutely stunning MGA Twincam. Beautiful to look at and a joy to drive with it's Miata twin cam engine. The "Mazda" has been polished off the cam cover as well.

Mount the frame first. Stresses added in tightening the frame mount studs could fracture the glass. If not now then a few miles down the road when you hit a good bump.

TR6? Was the tank near empty? If it happens again, open the tank cap. I'll bet it hisses. Vacuum build up in the fuel system which the pump can't overcome. Something is plugged in the fuel emissions/
