No, you dont need an adapter for the colourtune. Everything you need comes in the kit. I can't find the Gunson #4053 - but if its the one Ive got (called a carbalancer I think - plasticy and cheap)

If you have the same tyres as me, then smaller tyres... Just in case any listers are unsure what the numbers mean: 165 - thats the width 80 - thats the height (based on a ratio to the tyre width) So,
