I looked in my Haynes manual for a discussion of replacing the gasket. Nothing really. Do the screws that hold down the valve cover have to be torqued? I have two big screws holding it down. Is that

I have just bought a neglected 77 Spitfire 1500. I need to put tires on it. I am told the stock size is 165/75 13, but none of the local stores carry them. I"m thinking of putting 175/70 on it. opini

I took my newly acquired 77 Spit to the store for tires. (Thanks to those who helped me determine a good tire size.) It now has four nice, new 175/70s and a noise coming from the right rear wheel. H
