I can not speak specifically to your horn from your BN2, but the horns from my BJ7 have an "H" or "L" cast into the horn on the inside. These are visible by looking into the assembled horn opening (

Can't speak for others, but my problem was that the muffler heat shield supplied in the "usual supplier" kit did not match the mounting studs on my BJ7. I had three such shields supplied, none fit!

What is the current thinking on gooping up the valve cover gasket? Seems we used to apply Permatex Form a Gasket to the cover side while leaving the head side clean. Does this still hold? How about H

Did you take the free play out of the spring loaded levers where the cables attach to the SU's? It seems to me that each cable needs to be bottomed out in the cross-bar, then pulled toward the carb
