In the first place, NEVER run emory cloth through points. If you have a diamond point file then you can dress them carefully, but emory cloth just rounds the edges and reduces the contact area. I don

I've know people here running dual point with no problem with the MSD 6AL - I prefer only running One good set of HD points in mine and a Crane HI6, burnt too many MSD's Revs Strong past 7500- John W

I have become a firm believer that MSD stands for Might Suddenly Die, the boxes are the cause for countless DNF's, and the only value they add is to give you a rev limiter. The only rev limiter I use

I will second you Henry. When running an MSD you will actually need 3 units. One on the car. One in the spares box. One back at MSD for repair. I don't know how they got such a sterling reputation. T
