- This probably will not be much help unless you live nearby, but I have two complete MGB 4 syncro gearboxes, one overdrive, one non-overdrive. Both need to be rebuilt, but I was not having any problem

- Hi Mark, More important that the groves on the contact surface of the syncro ring is the clearance between it and the gear hub when it is pressed into "synchronizing" position on the cone of the gear
