FWIW, I never used NGKs, always Champions and never had problems. Usually N3(colder) or N5(hotter) or their extended tip counterparts N6Y or N9Y. For racing of course I used Champion's line of racing

For years, before buying my roadster, I used nothing but Champion plugs, with great success. So, I tried a set of Champions in the roadster. Went back to NGKs pretty quickly. Can't explain it. ______
Dave, The B6ES is listed on NGK's site as correct for a 1600. The BP6ES is a projected tip, listed in many web sites as the right plug, and if it the same length a B6ES, it should work as well or bet
