No question on stronger, and it spins the engine much faster and steadier. If you're running higher compression than stock, it's a good choice. If it's lighter, it's only marginally so, I think. But

Mini's have a smaller mounting ear. They look real close but a Spridget starter will not fit a Mini and vice versa but you can swap out the mounting plates, the case and guts are the same. -- Frank C
