I never rolled one (yet ;) ) but where the bar bolts at the ledge where the frame rails end is a very tough part of the car. Do plate it from underneith with at least 3/16" steel. -- Frank Clarici To

I did (with my wife in the car!). And we're still here. Three things saved my melon: 1 Headrests 2 worn seat foams 3. I'm 5'8", she's 5'7" When the car did flip, it had scrubbed off most of its speed

I have a single hoop cross-brace roll bar, bolted in. I rolled my car at Gingerman Raceway about 9 years ago. Didn't budge the bar at all. Did break the windshield, though. And scratched the paint. T
