Does anyone have a magical method of feeding the wire harness for my horn, flasher switch through the steering shaft. My new one is a repo that came with the car. And in spite of my best efforts does

No magic just persistance. I fished a piece of safety wire through the column first and attached it to the harness. You have to feed the metal connectors into the tube one at a time. I tried to wrap

Original ones pull pretty easy, even without lubricant. I wrap a piece of steel "baling" wire around the 4 wires between the highest bullet (which are staggered to fit through the tube) and the jack

If there's much dirt/grime or gummy remnants of the old wiring insulation inside your stator tube, you'll never get a new harness to pass through there. It's a tight fit, so the inside of your stator
