Nope, the stud itself is perfectly ordinary. On my older filter heads, there is actually a groove in that hole to pass the oil. I'm not sure if the groove is still in the later heads, but even witho

Tony, The oil gets to the line due to the gap provided by the lower washer. The lower washer should have a larger inner diameter I believe. I know the 2 copper washers are different in some way. Bob

Don't bother. I primed my oil line once. It didn't last. Here's what happens. Each time you stop the engine the oil galley drains and oil is replaced with air. The next time you start up the oil from
