I put my engine back togather, cranked it but still no. suction from the rear SU carb. Twice now I've took the intake manifold off, finding the new gaskets all well and good and so I still don't know

True. And since each cylinder has its own port you should be able to tell which cylinder is the offending one - if the problem is in the engine and not the manifold. And, if an intake valve is hangin
