- Dave, bummer on problem, sounds like odd stuff that happens to me! I have had keyways repaired on small engines by having welded down bad side and then painstakingly grinding and filing back to shape

- I've used JB Weld on crank keyway repairs and it seems to hold up fine. But I recommend drilling and tapping the crank snout for a retaining bolt and big washer to snug everything up nice & tight. Do
