That sounds about right Joe. I measured the same when I was hunting down a rear for my 53 1/2 ton. I also checked the width of my 72 Chevelle rear and it was pretty close to the same width as the AD

2:73 to 3:42 are the stock ratios I have seen. There are 3 different 10 bolt rear ends in these cars, 7.5", 8.2" and 8.5". The one to look for is the 8.5, and the easiest way I know to tell them apar
