The PO of my 1950 3100 has filled the four "Chevrolet" emblem holes in the front of the hood and finished/painted over them. I've purchased a new emblem and need to re-drill the holes out. This means

I have done this in the past. What worked for me was to cover the outside with masking tape and drill a 1/16 hole from the center of the inside to the outside. Then pull the masking tape. Put down a

Don't take my word on it (there are much more knowledable people here than me that I'm sure will answer this) .. but I would think you'd need to put some masking tape on the area that is to be drille

One more thing- after you've drilled the hole, be sure to seal the edges up with something. Otherwise, the bare metal is exposed, and moisture can start to work it's way under the paint. I usually us
