So I put my new lock cylinder in my new ignition switch (GMC too - hard to find!) and behold it works great. But how do I get the darn thing out??? I'm sure its simple, just don't want to damage it.

Make sure your battery is disconnected. I was doing this once and I fried a wiring harness. Apperently, when you turned the cyclinder after placing the paper clip, it created a dead short to the batt
