You are correct that these brackets were not used on the BN1's and early BN2's. The shrouds are formed differently in the area that the scuttle seals attach. As would be expected the seals are also

According to the factory parts list the later scuttle seals with teir accompanying mounting brackets were fitted comencing with car #229180, Body 11143 in November '55. See picture with Florida Gree
