According to that web page: 10E = Federal 5-speed 11E = Federal automatic 12E = California 5-speed 13E = California automatic (the above agrees with TRF's data) 14E = fuel-injected 5-speed 15E = fuel

What you have is a TR8 engine, built to meet California emissions for 1980, and all US emissions (California, as well as Federal 49-State) for 1981. This engine code (14E/15E) was also in all Canadia
