Tr3 yes, tr4 no. They are wonderful, but you need a lot of camber--2.5 to 3 degrees. I'm assuming they are radials, I can't imagine they wouldn't be. They will also hose your gearing. Does anyone hav

What size are you running? I'm worried about fit with the 225-50-15 under the fenderwells. The TD's are 24.78" tall and 6.8" tread. The 225's are only 23" tall but carry 8.4" tread width. Going to th

I use the Kumho's 225's on my IRS and they hold quite nicely. I gave away all my 008's. In fact they seem to be better ( read... available and inexpensive) than the Yoko's 008's I used to use. They h

We proved years ago that the width of the tire patch was the secret to success (fast). even with the narrow rims we were forced to use in the 60's (SCCA) with tires far too wide for that rim the car

Thanks, Kas ! I've been telling people that for years (that "too wide" tires grip better than skinny ones) but no one would believe me. Randall

Ok - I see that wider is better - So then I have a question! Why are the different sanctioning bodies so different in their approach - I mean knowing that some people got denied racing from a particu

Last sunday we had our last race this year. One Spitfire had Kumho's on. This tire was the only one, that became hot in the rain. Good grip either. I am thinking about to change from my Yoko's to Kum

My 2 cents. I have to run 14x6 rims in SCCA ITB with the Alfa, (Sorry guys!) I run the Hoosier R3S04's. I've tried 205-55-14 and 225 50-14. Both sizes are a real bitch to get on the 6" rim due to sid

I use a old fashion design as you can see on that picture. It was taken from a TR2 model. Chris Marx Hoosier R3S04's. I've tried 205-55-14 and 225 50-14. Both sizes are a real bitch to get on the 6"
