Hi Tim, NOT that I know of. One end goes at the connection of the vertical shaft to the throttle shafts, the other end goes down to a small hole in a tab washer on the heat shield/linkage pivot mount

Sorry but I have to disagree with you here. Yes there are return springs on the actual carburettor spindles as you describe but in addition there is the extension spring (1B 2711) that runs fore and

I agree with everything but the method of attaching the spring on the manifold bellcrank shaft. My car (145519) came with a small teardrop shaped bracket that fits on the shaft under* the bellcrank.
