- I would go with what the cam maker recommends. A hotter cam than stock will most likely use a different valve lash setting. Don 57 BN4

- Cast iron heads with .012 clearance are very quiet when compared to the aluminum heads. I calculate that the clearance will increase an additional .005 when hot relative to the cast iron head. That
