- Hoses and/or caliper seals would be my prime suspects. Keep in mind this is a 14 year old car, and things deteriorate. Even though I don't seem to have problems, hoses are on the list of things to ch

- Back in the days when I owned Chebbies, the calipers were single piston clamshells which slid on its bolts (carefully greased each time I serviced the brakes) with rubber boots to "protect" the bolts
