- Up until chassis no.BN1. 221403 the internal bore was larger than on the following cars including BN2 BN4 and BN6. I do not remember the exact sizes but you may be right in the that the first ones w

- Hey Alan According to my Girling parts list BN1 up to 221403 were 1" BN1 from 221404 were 7/8" BN2 went back to 1" again. Rears are 1" throughout. Isn't that interesting. So I guess the next question

- The 100s you list with 7/8" front cylinders had narrow 1 3/4" wide drums on the front and 2 1/4" wide drums on the rear. The early cars had 1 7/8" all round and the later (BN2) had 2 1/4" wide drums
