Walt--As you figured, it's important that both carb pistons rise and fall equally. You need to isolate the reason for the difference by doing a few things. Take out the dashpot dampers. Take out the

Walt-Do you replace both diaphragms? They tend to stiffen with age and cause increased resistance, also make sure the screws holding the domes to carb bodies are evenly tightened. Just a thought. Ber

Somtimes you'll have an alignment problem with the carb piston and the bore it slides up and down through. It sorta binds up. This problem was most prevelant with S.U.'s or earlier LBCs. With the ca
