My 1980 Spitfire came with snaps installed on the floorboards. I can check tonight on the exact locations and mounting methods (screw or rivet) if you like.

My new carpet kit came with 6 snaps that I'm supposed to install to hold the foot well sections in place. There are no snaps on the floors that I can find. Are there supposed to be 2 just in front of

The carpet kit I purchased also had the snaps, and, like you, nothing on the floor boards. Rather than drill holes to install the snaps, I used double-sided tape to keep the carpet in place. Works g
