I don't recommend using the ez bleed with silicone. It will force air bubbles into the silicone fluid (on a microscopic level). This makes the fluid less effective and you will have less travel in th

I concur. I used a hand powered ez bleed. The results are unsatisfactory with the silicone fluid. Too many air bubbles. I had to go back and bleed the brakes the old fashioned way after bleeding the

As a last cleaning measure, run some denatured alcohol (ethanol--available at the big box home improvement stores) through the system. It'll scavenge any glycol & moisture left in there. Rick O. 72 T

My clutch requires pumping to release, so it's time to rebuild or replace a cylinder, or two. Is there an easy way to tell if it is the master or slave cylinder that needs attention? I know, some may

Gary--It could be that neither the MC or SC is in need of repair. One sign would be if either is leaking fluid. Pull back the rubber boot and look for wetness at the pushrod(s). If the fluid level in

Dick, Irv and Bob, Thanks for your speedy responses. I had not considered the fact that if I only fix one cylinder at a time I will be bleeding the system twice. Gary '73

Rich--Yes, the clutch MC is leaking fluid past the seal. I simple build may be all that's necessary. Look down the bore when the piston is out and inspect for pitting. If necessary, do the honing. Ot
