Monty, You should be able to drift that pin out with a punch and hammer. Try soaking it really well with a penetrant...or perhaps the holes on the dog are slightly peened over...try cleaning 'em out

Remove the screw under the rotor, drift out the roll pin on the dizzy gear drive on the bottom of the shaft, now everything will come apart. Be carfull with the weight springs, do not stretch them or

The plate that the outer end of the weights attach to is permanently connected to the distributor shaft. To remove, you gotta extract the whole assembly. Drive out the pin that retains the driving do
