Um, I had an early 1500 Spit. Bought in April of 73, 1st model of the 1500. It came with a ZS 1.75. But I did stick a set of 1.25s from a 69 Spit on them with it's replacement 1296cc engine at 11,000

You should also note that MG TD Mk II and TF models used 1.5" SU H4's on 1250 cc engines. I'm planning to put two H4's from a Volvo PV544 on my '67 using a Maniflow intake per Vizard's suggestion. C
