On my way to Sam's Club tonight FROG AYE decided to act up. The idle was a bit fast (around 2000) so I was hoping to remember to set it down when I got to the parking lot. FROG AYE had different idea

Throttle cable jumped out of it's seat on the carb sheild. Throttle cable is frayed inside the sheath. Return spring (s) popped off. If you have later SUs with the poppet valves on the throttle plate

Look and see if your throttle cable has come loose at the heat shield or the top of the footwell, and hung up above the hole that it is supposed to set into. Maybe not, but at least it is a start. Br

What a relative said about Costco: "It's like Sam's, but cleaner." I think what he meant is that Sams is a place where you stock up on stuff in bulk. You can't fit much bulk stuff in a Bugeye.

I worked on a 2007 Corvette. There is way more plastic there than steel. $70k and the fenders feel like they would break if you don't support them well.
